Back-end and Linux partner for agencies and software houses

Do you lack expertise in ColdFusion, Lucee, legacy PHP, Linux or mail servers for a client project? We take on the task as a subcontractor and are responsible for the agreed result. White label is possible on request.

  • ColdFusion and Lucee in production systems since 2015

Two rules that keep your client relationship with you

  • White label on request

We work without our own logo and do not appear in front of your client unless you approve otherwise.

  • Your tools and your repository

The code stays in your repository (Git or SVN), and we track tasks in your ticketing system, for example Jira. We organise the work itself.

Tasks that agencies and software houses hand over to us

We take on these tasks for your clients' projects, with an agreed scope and result:

  • Legacy systems and back end: operation, updates and further development of ColdFusion, Lucee and PHP applications, including Smarty (Takeover and maintenance, Migration and modernisation).
  • Interfaces, front end and documents: REST and SOAP connections, a new front end for an existing back end, document and PDF services (Development and integration).
  • Servers and operations: looking after, securing and monitoring your clients' Linux servers, with network zones, WAF and central logs (Linux operations and infrastructure).
  • Email: clarifying deliverability and running mail servers when invoices or one-time passwords end up in spam.
  • Containers: moving applications from conventional hosting into containers (From hosting to containers).

You run your own in-house team rather than an agency? The same way of working for in-house teams is described on the page Your team needs support?.

Three engagement models, terms agreed in a call

Which model suits you depends on the project:

  • Fixed price for clearly defined tasks with a defined result.
  • Time and materials for open tasks, within an agreed limit that we do not exceed without checking with you first.
  • Monthly retainer for ongoing, variable needs with an agreed response time and a fixed contact.

We discuss prices and terms for partners in a call, not on this page. The models are compared on the How we work page.

How a partnership begins

  1. Technical call

You describe the project, the stack and the timeframe, and we clarify scope and open questions. You receive a first reply within one working day.

  2. First assignment

We begin with an assignment whose scope and result are fixed. That shows both sides whether our way of working and quality suit the project.

  3. Ongoing collaboration

After that we continue in one of the three models. Code, access and documentation stay with you and your client.

Our engineers' experience

Our engineers have worked with ColdFusion and Lucee in production systems since 2015, and with PHP, Smarty and Slim, as full-stack developers and in DevOps, since 2012. The page Experience lists the system types they have worked on.

If your agency works with Polish developers or your software house with German clients, the language bridge helps: interpreting and translation in IT projects, in both directions.

Questions from agencies and software houses

Can you stay invisible to our client if we prefer that?

Yes. We work without our own logo and contact your client only if you approve it. Questions and results go through your point of contact. If you would rather be open with your client about our involvement, that works just as well.

Do you work with Jira, Git and SVN?

Yes, with Git and with SVN. We manage tasks in Jira or in the tool you already use. The code lives in your own repository and therefore stays in your hands.

Do you do frontend and backend, or backend only?

Both. Our engineers have worked as full-stack developers since 2012. Typical tasks are a new frontend for an existing backend and the maintenance of jQuery frontends that have grown over the years. For new projects we recommend a front end on Node.js, for example with Next.js and React. We discuss in the intro call whether that suits your system.

When can you start?

You will receive a first reply within one working day. When we begin work depends on our current workload and on the scope. We give you a binding answer in the intro call. If it is urgent, the 48-hour emergency assessment starts as soon as we have access to the system.

What is your hourly rate?

It depends on scope, engagement model and urgency. Describe your situation briefly and, after a conversation, we will send you an offer. You do not need a budget for that. We quote fixed prices for the entry products.

Discuss a partnership

Describe your project or bottleneck in a few sentences, together with the technologies involved. You receive a first reply within one working day.

For a call back we only need your phone number: emergencies around the clock, otherwise within one working day.
