Google warns visitors about your website, visitors end up on unknown sites, or the hosting provider has suspended the account? We isolate the website, close the vulnerability and clean the website within 24 hours of access, weekends included. Afterwards you receive a written report.
Typical starting points and the first step for each
Each page describes a situation from our daily work. It shows how to recognise it, what trigger or deadline is behind it and which first step to take. The list is ordered by urgency.
From urgent to planned

Your developer has resigned or already left, and the system has to keep running. We review the system and give you a written report 48 hours after access: its state, the immediate risks and a plan for the first 30 days.
-
Invoices, quotes or one-time passwords land in spam or come back? Since November 2025 Gmail has enforced its sender rules more strictly, including rejections (As of 2026-10). We check SPF, DKIM, DMARC and reputation and give you a written action list.
-
Your system runs, but nobody knows it in detail. We record application, database, server and email, assess the risks, recommend the next step in writing and, if you wish, take over operations.
-
Your team is at capacity, a specific skill is missing, or you need a second opinion before an important decision? We take over a defined part: a module, the backend for your frontend, an interface, a migration or a code review. We work in your repository and ticket system, and the code and the knowledge stay with you.

According to Adobe, ColdFusion 2021 has received no security patches since 10 November 2025. We compare four routes: stay and harden, update, move to Lucee or replace the system step by step, with dates and risks (As of 2026-10).
-
Security updates for PHP 8.2 end on 31 December 2026, and for PHP 8.1 and older they have already ended (As of 2026-10). We move long-running PHP applications, including those with Smarty templates and jQuery front ends, to PHP 8.4 or 8.5 and test every stage.
-
Support for Debian 11 ended on 31 August 2026, and for CentOS 7 on 30 June 2024 (As of 2026-10). We will upgrade your server, or plan and carry out the move to Debian. We also work with Proxmox VE 8 and with physical servers that we move to Proxmox.
-
We move your Lucee, ColdFusion or PHP application from classic hosting into containers without rewriting it. That lets you rebuild, update and relocate the environment. Security updates for PHP 8.2 end on 31 December 2026 (As of 2026-10).
-
Your legacy system works and holds rules nobody wants to rewrite. We expose its logic as a web service and close known vulnerabilities in a single pass. Comparison tests check whether behaviour stays the same, and the new system is built beside it in the new stack.
-
You want contracts, quotes and forms generated as PDF from your system's data, but their text depends on the individual case. We build a dedicated service with variables and text variants, which your system calls through an interface, without rebuilding the core of your software.
-
Does your front end depend on jQuery 1.x or 2.x and on Smarty templates that nobody likes to touch? We renew it one area at a time alongside the running system and test after every step. The jQuery project no longer supports the 1.x and 2.x branches (As of 2026-10).
-
Is your data being copied by hand between two systems today, or does a partner require an API? We connect existing applications via REST or SOAP, synchronise data between them and send transactional emails and notifications from your workflows.
When several situations apply, or none
At the top are situations in which a website has been attacked, something fails or nobody knows the system. Next come cases with a date, such as the end of security updates for a version. Last are projects without a deadline, which you can plan at your own pace.
If several situations apply, start with the most urgent. Example: if the developer has left and the PHP version is outdated, the takeover comes first and the update follows. If it is acute, call rather than fill in a form. The Contact page gives the telephone number and the hours when we can be reached.
Every page follows the same structure. It shows how you recognise the situation, which steps follow and what you receive in writing. It also answers typical questions and offers a form with the topic preselected. For most situations the first step is an entry product with a fixed scope and price; for the rest it is a conversation. The entry products are described under How we work.
Dates on the pages state their source and status. If a deadline has passed, the page says since when. You will find the support dates of ColdFusion, Lucee, PHP and Linux collected under Insights.
If no situation fits exactly, start with Take over a legacy system without documentation. That page applies to any system that runs but that nobody knows well any more.
